Fees and Payment Options

Payment is due at the time of service. Checks, cash and credit cards are accepted. The client is responsible for full payment of the charges for the consultation at the time of the visit, and cannot typically expect any insurance reimbursement. Many companies have Flex Plans, which will reimburse for homeopathic treatment. Cancellations will be free of charge if you inform the office 48 hours prior to the appointment or in case of an emergency, otherwise 50% of the fee will be due.

Records of client visits and other transactions are confidential. Ms. Heidbrak may, for purposes of improving your care, discuss a case in a confidential manner with a professional peer, without disclosing any information by which you might be identified. Any other use of your case information such as teaching, research, or publication in professional journals would require separate and specific permission from the client.

My standard charges are as follows:

For Individuals
Adult & Pediatric Initial interview
Covers initial in-depth consultation, the first follow
up (within the first month) and all phone calls and
remedies for the first month.

Initial Consultation
Covers one hour in-depth consultation, visit to home
(if within 10 miles*) and all phone calls and remedies

*  I prefer to see animal clients in their home for the first visit.  If I have to travel more 10 miles to see the animal, then there will be an additional charge for time/travel.  This rate is $10 for each additional 10 minutes of travel after the initial 10 miles.

Payment
Payment is expected at the time of your visit.  I accept cash, checks and credit cards.
I do not accept insurance forms in lieu of payment but I am happy to provide you with a receipt for your insurance.

There is a full money back guarantee if you are not satisfied with results after 4 months.

Emergencies
While I treat a wide range of conditions, you should know that this is not an emergency facility.  In the event of an acute illness or injury, I will make every effort to give prompt attention to established patients and, if necessary make referrals to an appropriate health care provider.  If you have an emergency and are unable to reach me, please go to an emergency care service facility.

General Information
To make sure that your remedy is a good match to your symptoms I may need additional time to study your information thoroughly after we meet for the first time.  In homeopathic treatment it is unusual for two people with the same condition to need the same remedy.  So I may spend additional time in order to individualize the treatment. 

You need to schedule your first follow up visit three to four weeks after you start taking your remedy.  In addition I may ask you call me between consultations for a short update.  This consistent contact enables me to keep your records current and be informed of your progress or general condition.  The length of time between visits varies.   The frequency of the visits is tailored to the specific needs of the client. The length of time homeopathy takes is dependent on the nature and duration of the state and the response to the remedy.  Follow up visits are generally one half hour.

Rescheduling Appointments
I charge 50% of your scheduled visit’s fee if you miss or cancel you appointment less than 24 hours before the scheduled time and I am unable to fill your vacated appointment.  Please notify me as far in advance as possible if you are unable to keep an appointment or need to reschedule.
